| Because no two Traffic
Exchanges are created equal they tend to develop into the individual
properties that mirror their owners vision. There are also IT
peculiarities to be encountered sometimes simply because of the slight
differences found with software in other regions of the world. On this
page we attempt to identify some of the idiosyncrasies that may not be
immediately noticeable to those joining a Traffic Exchange located in a
far off country. |
|
|
| If you intend joining
Get Fast Hits
or
WenSpan TE
and use any of the following browsers: IE6, Crazy Browser
or Firefox
you will likely need to use the right-hand mouse button to visit the
surf bar- the left-hand button will take you out of the site
altogether. Once on the surf page everything behaves as normal.
This glitch may be country/location orientated? |
|
|
| If you intend to join
Traffic Experts
a familiar script appears to omit a
'match shape' trigger button at the end of each 10 seconds timer. I find
that if you press the Quick Access Link on the far left just below the
timer it acts as a button to move you to the next display and also has
the record of your visits added. |

Hogs Hollow is
likely one of the first Traffic exchanges that has their members
encounter a Blinx TV ad when they first enter the site. It takes a
little while to figure out that you need to press a button at the top
right hand side of the screen to continue to your account.
Also at
Hogs Hollow
surfers encounter a warning as they initially set-off on their surfing
adventure. The security warning tells you that if you miss the
cash reward link that randomly shows up beneath the 'match shape' icons
you may well be considered a cheat and have your account closed. The
good side of this is that there seem to be lots of cash rewards, so fill
your boots! |
|
|
| At
TX TotalShare
identifying the icons that you have to match is not always as easy as it
might sound because differences in appearance and usage of icons
relating to IT around the world makes it so. |
